Since all our systems are custom designed to suit your needs, we offer the size and system that can help nearly every woman out there. The Intralace System® is as gentle on your own hair as possible and is designed to grow with you, or to allow your existing hair to continue to grow.

Wearing a wig or other hair piece can be a very strange and often traumatic experience. Initially, it’s an admission to yourself that you are, in fact, losing your hair. It can be uncomfortable or tight. You have to remove it at night, care for it separately from your own hair, and may limit the styles you can wear (ponytail, up-do, French braid, etc)

The type of transformation we can make to our New York clients' hair

The System

Your existing hair is blended with the new hair from the system. Then your system is custom built strand by strand. Your hair is gently threaded through the mesh system until it becomes like a second skin. Our attachment method leaves the system fully secure without concern that it may come off.

It is light and airy and more importantly allows you to feel the water on your scalp when you are swimming or feel the wind through your hair, without panic or fear. The Lucinda Ellery hair replacement system is worn full time. You do not take it off at night, nor when swimming, exercising, or even playing pickle ball.

You wash it as you normally would, you brush it as normal - with minimal extra care.

If you have no existing hair at all, and are completely bald, then our Freewear System is designed for you. It is also a semi-permanent hair system, but uses medical-grade tape to secure it in place so you can still have an active lifestyle.

Adaptable to your condition

If there is the possibility that your hair will return (after certain medical conditions, chemotherapy, accident or illness), then the Intralace system can be customized to adapt to your growing hair so that you always have the most natural looking head of hair, because it is designed to adapt to your hair growth.

The mesh and our hair systems are designed to last for 2 years but remember, because your own hair will continue to grow, your maintenance appointments would be approximately every 6-8 weeks.

These consultations can be done in person at our studio on 28th Street (take the Path train then the crosstown bus from New Jersey, the 6 train from Brooklyn or the Bronx or Metro North if you are coming in from Westchester or Connecticut).

While we always prefer to have you come in, we also offer virtual consults via Zoom or Facetime if that is easier. This initial consultation is just a way for us to learn more about your goals and how we can help you get there.
